Feel like I'm Done

I don't know what's going on with me lately. All I know is that I don't feel like working here anymore. The bad part about it, it is not the people I work with but I do believe I'm just getting tired of the same old thing. I'm so ready to retire and start looking for a new civilian job. Not sure what I want to do but I am sure I want it to be my own business. Right now I'm taking Criminal Justice and hope to be finished by the time I do retire. Another reason I'm ready to get out is waiting on a promotion that right now seems impossible to get. So I would rather get out now and take my chances in the real world even though with everything going on might now find a good job.

I hate Liars

Trying to understand how some one can sit in your face and tell you they don't love you or want to be with you no more. But when they leave they call you everyday complaining about their life and the new man they are with. She calls ask you for money but she is the reason why you lost two jobs now tell me do this makes sense. She tell you that she is coming to get the kids but never show up and this happens on more then several occasion. Now what can you do with someone like this that lies every chance she has and always want you to front her life even though she is running around with other guys.

Dead Weight

I'm telling you the Military has too much dead weight in it. There are too many Soldiers in there getting pay checks for doing nothing while the rest of us are busting our tails to get things done. Then you have Soldiers who think people owe them the world because they did one thing right or they helped with a project or did a good job at something. Me personally have only completed high school and now 13 college hours after 20 something years of being out of school. But why do they think they can get over on someone who has been around for years still hip to the game or the streets. They are making me laugh and at the same time getting on my nerves. But what can you do when the Leadership don't even care and still trying to keep the dead weight around for numbers.....

Trying to be Humble

It's kind of hard to be so stressed out these days with no relief in site. When you really don't have friends and when there is no one to be there for you. Even your Co-worker you thought were friends are not. It is a strange world where you can go online and meet people that treats you better then any friend you have or even had. I have met friends online lately that have giving me a new outlook and life and helps me to keep my mind in other places then to worry about day to day stuff that has no reason really to have you stressed out. It is a shame that you have people right there with you but you have to turn to the internet. Some friends say that they are there for you and really are not ever there when you need them. I have some of them even on the internet or even ones that been very very close to me. Even your Family let's you down in your time of need. I have never met family members before where you stayed in contact with them by visiting them or even calling them all the time. How come they can't do that in return give you a call or even see how you are doing. There are family members out there I haven't heard from in years but they want you to come and visit but you haven't heard from them or you don't even know if there ever think about you. Mom I know you always say don't be that way about family just giving up on them cause they don't stay in touch but sometimes but sometimes you have to draw a line somewhere and move on but there are times when those feelings do come back around so then what do you do. Do you even try to reach out again or what or just leave it alone as usual..

Time to Retire

Just got off two weeks Vacation and Man I didn't want to come back to work. I do know it is time for me to retire and start taking it easy. I have completed so far 26 Years in this Man's Army and I'm Ready to go. The only problem I have now is that I still have 4 years to go before I can retired and starting collecting that money. I really don't know if I Can make it that long as I'm tired of doing the work that I have been doing since 1997. After listening and watching my last Supervisor retire I hope that I don't follow in his foot steps because right he he is unable to find a Job. I don't think it is the Job he can't find I just believe that he really don't have the desire to really look for one. He has been in the Service for over 28 years and right now I have 26 years but also I have been on the Civilian side of the house so I do know what it feels like to have a Job out side of the Military and I do have that desire to work and have many trades or experiences to fall back on when I do retire.

Potty Training

Just sitting here today bored out of my mind again and thought I would write a little. My Grand Daughter is 2 years old and just learned what the potty is all about. Well the funny part since she went the first time now she can't seem to not want to go. I mean like every five minutes I need to Pee or I need to number 2 it is so funny to watch her. Also and if someone don't go with her she will bring the Potty to where people are. The best thing about that at least we know she will use it now and not like some other kids older then her that still refuses to use it and are still wetting themselves.

Onine Traffic Ticket Testing

Man taking the online course because I received a ticket sucks. When they say it takes four hours they mean it. I don't know if you know but they have a timer on these lesson and trust me you will be sitting there waiting until it finishes. I tell you this the state of Florida got you wrapped in their little hands. It is bad enough you have to pay the high ticket but then they force you to take a course. Also they will have a block on the ticket to donate what was it about two dollars to the State Troopers, Sheriff Department or the Police Department.

When is it Enough

When do you think helping others is enough. Some times I find myself trying to help everyone but in the mean time I'm putting myself into a hole. I can't complete most things I need to because people are always coming to me. Now I know it is the right thing to do and I'm not complaining but when do you put people on hold. I can't blame anyone but myself. So what do I do now do I still continue to help or do I drop things I do for people and get the things I need to get done done!!!. The story of my Life.

Spread The Word About St. Baldrick's Foundation

Hey Everyone,
As you all know, Levi(my son) was diagnosed with A.L.L Leukemia in January of this year. Well the little fellow has touched so many lives and even ones that have never met him in person. Kris G. is pulling together to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation and I think we should all do something if we can. If you can donate, great! Why do People think they know you

Why do people think they know you. Just because you work with people why do you assume that you know them when you really don't. I had this conversation today with a co-worker. Working relationships is one thing but to know someone outside of the Office is another. You can't really expect to know someone if you don't spend time with them. So once again how do people think they know you if they don't share your thoughts, ideals and goals.

Take a Deep Breath Brother II

So back to where I was anyone thinking out there for me. Now another thing is that one of the people ok gets more time off and just take days of for all kind of appointments now with the amount of days she takes off most jobs wouldn't even allow that to happen. This person I can say does special things for the job but that doesn't count to well with me with with this person gets away with. Well I think i can make it until the end of the month but this is creating more work for me not to mention the extra gray hairs it is giving me. My stress level is up and least I think it is and I need to start running more now and try to calm myself down just a bit. I'm at the point where I don't even want to go to work or even be there to do the work I do do. I feel like i need to step away but once again I am locked in for at least 5 more years. Still waiting to hear from anyone.

Take a Deep Breath Brother

Wow i'm at the point where I don't know what to say or do. Since I went away last year my job brought in two people to do my job. Well since I been back these two people are still there. Well first of all since I am the person that should be there I can't even get my own desk back now you know thats a shame. We have another guy there that is the boss of us until the end of month. Well you can't even really say anything to these two people without getting chewed up by him and even if the work don't get done it falls on me. the work that isn't really getting done that they should be doing is falling back on me to do and I have mid level bosses calling me every 5 minutes for some information that these two or actually one should be doing the most of. Since what they do is my job I'm really getting hit now for their actions but they don't work for me. So what can I do about it. Guess I will have to just sit back until the end of the month until all three leaves. I'm really trying to be nice here and not jump on anyone because again I know I will pay for all mistakes or mishaps. Now yesterday my Mid Level bosses called me at 3:30PM waiting some information they should have asked for first thing in the morning but they didn't. So I received the phone call now I have to jump through loops to get things done and really the information I needed comes from Departments below me well about 11 of them to say. You don't call someone when everyone takes of at 4pm you know. I tried calling everyone but they had left for the Day. So I had to wait until this morning to get information but some of them didn't even come in today which made my Day upsetting. Okay so I starting doing what I could and then the phone calls started again and now they need even more information from me. Again they waited until the end of the Day to want even more information. Now my Day starts at 0730AM and it was 9PM when I finished tonight. Tell me that isn't messed up. So tell me with these three people left until the end of the month what do I do until then I can't keep taking the hit for their actions and for the work they don't complete. This two Days have been stressing me out big time and I just feel like walking off the Job but I can't since I am locked into it for about 5 more years. So how do you deal with this situation and do I say anything or let it be.
